Mike Carrick, the broker-in-charge, is a full-time licensed real estate professional in North and South Carolina, a licensed general contractor, and one of the top-selling Brevard and Lake Toxaway, NC real estate agents. He is an eco-certified broker, and more importantly, the only Transylvania County, NC real estate broker operating from a 100% solar-powered office.
In addition to his solar-powered office, Mike designed and built his off-the-grid solar-powered home in Lake Toxaway. Nestled on a small footprint high on the mountainside, it's there where he gets his inspiration and drive to tackle the world around us. Mike is active in the community and can often be found on the soccer field with his daughter Gracie and their black lab, Lily. Mike enjoys motorcycles, fly fishing, canoeing, surfing and living the dream in Western North Carolina.
Roger Raxter, real estate broker, has been with Carrick Properties for years, and knows the land in this area like the back of his own hand. Roger is a licensed land surveyor, second-generation, and has over 25 years of local surveying experience. He claims to have discovered half the waterfalls in the area (if you believe that, he also has some swamp land in Florida to sell you), but loves nothing more than getting out in the woods and exploring with his dogs and being a true outdoorsman.
Roger is a lifetime resident of Transylvania County, and his family was among the original settlers here, with roots in the county that go back over two centuries. He is married with two boys and lives in the Lake Toxaway area.
